To Wash or not To Wash?

How frequently do you wash your wavy hair and how do you sleep with it (bun, loose) to maintain/extend the wave between washes?

Spray with water each morning to revive thewaves / curls and scrunch it. Add dry oil spray or light oil and use dry shampoo as needed

I co-wash every day with a conditioner but I rarely ever use shampoo. I shampoo once every two weeks. At night, I braid my hair and put on a satin cap to protect it.

2-3 times a week. Sleep with it in a pineapple bun using a soft loose scrunchie or wrapped all up in 100% cotton tshirt.

I shampoo and condition my hair once a week. I braid my hair in sections and throw on a satin cap at night. If and when I'm feeling lazy, I pineapple my hair into a bun. The LOC method tends to extend my waves/curls until my next wash day.

I washed mine every other day and used dry shampoo. I slept in braids, using a good mousse helps maintain waves but make sure you get the right kind because some will make your hair hard and don't use a lot
