Has anyone tried pomade

Recently i’ve been getting a lot of videos of women using a small amount of pomade to refresh their wavy hair or vintage style curls. It looked really good and i’m always looking for an easy routine to refresh my curls so i was thinking about trying it.

My curls are type c and I wanted to know if anyone with a similar curl pattern has tried it and if it’s worth a try. Im worried i wont get the same effect.
