Hair Dryers & Diffusers!

Hey y’all!

I’ve been wanting to try using a diffuser, and I want to know y’alls favourites!! 💕 I’d also like to know if y’alls would reccomend using a heat protector—I’ve never used a hairdryer before lol.

@IAteABarOfSoap Some hair products already provide heat protection so try checking your labels or googling if the products you use do! 
If you decide you want to use one, heat protectants that i use are either CHI “silk infusion” or Eva-NYC mane magic. 

The hair dryer i have is by Ion Luxe (sally beauty brand). I was trying to look it up to tell you the exact name but they don’t even make it anymore 😂. I’ve been having it for years and it works just fine (and for a good price). It came with a wide flat attachment and a diffuser attachment. They do have another hair dryer called the “Luxe Turbosonic Hair Dryer” but i’ve never tried it before, that one comes with the same types of attachments as well. 

I checked on amazon and they have their “Whisper Quiet Lite Ionic” hair dryer which looks more similar to the one i have compared to the turbosonic one but i’ve also never tried this one. The whisper quiet one comes with a diffuser and 2 other wide, flat attachments.

Hi, @IAteABarOfSoap !  I rarely use a dryer.  When I do, I use a diffuser.  The one I like is Drybar The Bouncer Diffuser .  It's big (but not super huge) and the fingers are long.  I bought it about 1 1/2 years ago.  Other than dropping it and breaking off one of the fingers, it's held up well.
