Different ways to style curly hair

I’m mixed and have very curly/wavy hair. I want to bring more definition to my curls. I have used briogeo, Devacurl, and wasn’t thrilled with is I just want the soft defined curls and the products I used made them feel dry. I am also transitioning I had my hair chemically straightened but am growing it out and I’m almost done!! Maybe just a couple more months so I’m looking for hairstyles. Right now my hair is short I just had a HUGE haircut to cut off a lot of straight ends!

I personally use Garnier Fructis Style Curl Sculpt Conditioning Cream Gel and Controlling Gel. They help control and style curly hair, and I personally love using it. My hair never feels plasticky, and it feels pretty natural. It smells really nice, too! It doesn't help with everything, but it gets the job done!
