Devacurl Supercream Alternatives?

I used to use the Devacurl Supercream for my hair and it made my curls looks amazing! I’m looking for alternatives that give my hair the same look. It made my curls bouncy, bulked them up so it gave it more curl, volumized them, and just made my curls look more beautiful. Does anyone know anything that gives hair the same look as the Supercream? I’ve heard someone say the Amkia curl product looks good, so does anyone know anything about that? Thank so so much!

RE: Devacurl Supercream Alternatives?

I was using the deva curl super cream but I switched to the kƩrastase discipline blow dry smoothing primer instead. I was skeptical initially when the sephora employee at Georgetown location recommended it. I do use diffuser and hair dryer, as well as Aquis hair towel. My curls are definitely more defined and minimal to no frizz! Love it! Highly recommend it. I plan on trying the shampoo and conditioner within this line.

I love the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie!

RE: Devacurl Supercream Alternatives?

First, i would definitely stop using devacurl. It’s causing a lot of people to lose their curls or even their hair, and I’m sure you don’t want that. As far as good hair creams that will make your curls look amazing, you should try cantu curl cream. It provides a lot of moisture to your hair and helps hold curls in a really great curl, and it has heat protection built into the formula, which is a plus. You can use it on wet hair to help set your curl before drying, or you can use it on dry hair to rehydrate between washes.

I have the same exact question! I love the deva curl cream, but not the price!
