Best heated rollers for long thick hair

Hello all!

Looking for suggestions/opinions on the best heated rollers for long thick hair. I've seen a lot of good comments about Babyliss and Remington. I think it's been Babyliss I've used before but that set is more than 10 years old! 

Since my hair is so long, I'm aware that the actual "curl" won't last too long but the volume should hold. Any thoughts?

Also any suggestions on the right type of hold (but no crunching!) hair spray? I'm from the U.K. and used to use either Mark Hill or L'oreal Elnett.
