What's my undertone?

Hi! I’m looking for help finding the right foundation shade. I have surface redness, but I think I have olive undertones because the color of my veins isn't distinctively blue or green. I notice a greenish-greyish tinge to my skin, especially on my forehead and my mouth crease. I have a problem finding the right foundation as most shades make me look too orange or too washed out.

Could you please help me find a foundation that matches my skin tone and undertones? I'm open to trying different brands and formulas.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: What's my undertone?

How much coverage are you looking for? I also have olive undertones with some surface redness and agree that it looks like you have olive undertones too. I really like Tarte Maracuja tinted moisturizer for liquid foundation- I use the shade light-medium neutral but you might want to go with the medium neutral. It's more of a medium coverage but it's relatively buildable and you can always use a powder foundation over it (I like bareminerals or elf loose powders). Hope that helps!

Re: What's my undertone?

Hi! I am looking for at least light to medium coverage that can also be built up if needed. I'll have to give the Tarte tinted moisturizer a try! What BareMinerals or ELF loose powder shades would you recommend?

Re: What's my undertone?

Maybe give the Neutral Medium 15 a try? You could also go into a Sephora shop if there's one near you and ask them to do a color match for you! For ELF I would try the Halo Glow setting powder in Medium.
