Tips for disguising deep sunken under eye circles?

It’s not so much the colour as it is the shape of my under eyes, the are sunken and set in from the rest of my face, so there’s always a shadow there. I’ve tried using lighter concealers but it just makes me look like reverse panda eyes. Any tips? Don’t mind the shine lol

You can use two hades of concealer. One being in your own shade all over your dark circles and another one slightly lighter, applied sparingly, only on that more pronounced line you have.

I have used dermal fillers 2 years ago and they help a lot. Results last for 12-15 months.

I haven't done it again because I moved states and can't find a doctor I trust, so I am back to my old concealer tricks.

Re: Tips for disguising deep sunken under eye circles?

I apply a tiny bit of concealer right in my hollow tear trough, where the shadow is. I don’t put it anywhere else under my eyes. I use a shade that’s close to my skin tone; for me, that’s NARS Radiant Creamy shade Amande. If my overall skin tone is darker (summer tone), I use my color correction shade Truffle. I’d try one shade lighter than my skin tone if I could find a good shade match that’s not yellow/gold based.

I set that concealer with my usual setting powder (By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder). If I use something like Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder or NARS Highlighting Powder on my cheeks, I sometimes dust it lightly over my hollows, just to reflect a bit of light and further mask things.

This can’t fully disguise my hollows, but it does mask the shadow. The only full disguise is a dermal filler, which I’m not willing to have done (and periodically redone) yet.
