Recommendations for primers and concealer for oily skin. I usually use smashbox and urban decay but with oily skin the shine appears in a short time. I have read good things about KVD lock it foundation but have not tried it. thoughts and or opinions? Thanks.

it is one of the mattest, most high coverage foundations out there. itworks pretty well for oil, however there's a few things: if you haveany texture/ dry patches or acne, it will intensely amplify it, and makeit much more noticeable. so I wouldn't buy it if you have textured skin. and it also feels quite heavy. so sometimes you don't want something so heavy, specially when you have oily skin, because the natural oils already make you feel so heavy. but it is one of the better ones to keep your oil at bay. I would also recommend the tarte Amazonianclay foundation. it's lighter feeling than the KVD foundation, its matte and is just a teeny bit less full coverage (but still full coverage. the KVD one is like a mask. lol.) hope this helped. EDIT: as for primers and concealer, I use tarte poreless mattifying primer, and I've used the Peter Thomas Roth max anti shine mattifying gel (but it's not cruelty-free so I stopped purchasing that one. they're quitesimilar) and I use the tarte shape tape concealer. I used to use the KVD concealer but this one is much better. (I have a review of the KVD concealer on my page if you wanna look at it)

I recently bought the Kat Von D lock it and I love it. It has amazing coverage and it lasts for at least 12 hours. It is thicker than I was used to but it blends out nicely. It definitely requires a setting powder but it doesn’t crease. I have pretty normal skin but I can say that it has not dried out my skin or caused any pore clogging. It also washes off super easy. I hope this helps.
