Help with foundation

I have acne prone combination skin with lots of scarring on my face. Nothing seems full coverage enough for me, even after multiple layers of foundation and concealer. Also sometimes matte foundations look to drying. I have tried Estee Lauder Double Wear, NARS All Day Luminous, Too Faced Born This Way and MUFE Ultra HD. Does anyone have any recommendations???

Re: Help with foundation

Try a sample of Lancome Tient Idole or Kat Von D Lock It foundations. Both are full coverage and last a long time.

Re: Help with foundation

Hello, there's a youtuber that has similar skin as you. She's very open about the products she uses and has segments every so often called "15 days of foundation" where she tried new foundation for 15 days straight. Her YouTube name is ThatAylaa, hope she gives you some ideas!

Re: Help with foundation

Have you tried the It Cosmetics CC cream?  It is full coverage even though it is a CC cream.  It also has SPF in it, which is a plus!  I will sometimes mix this with another foundation depending on how my skin is behaving or if I need a better color match.  There aren't many shades but it is easy to adjust.  Also, Desi Perkins has a great tutorial for concealing acne and even making some breakouts look like beauty marks!  Sounds crazy, but it actually works!

RE: Help with foundation

My skin used to have the worst acne ever before I started Accutane. I always used to use Clinique's superbalanced foundation. It offers the most coverage I've ever seen!

RE: Help with foundation

I have used Bare Minerals/ Essentials when Leslie first came out. I have not been disappointed. She has a new one in a compact. My skin is combo, also.

Re: Help with foundation

Have you tried Bare Minerals original foundation?  I have combination skin and scarring on the temples where I had severe acne years ago and this foundation works great on oily or combination skin. The coverage is good without feeling heavy and is great for your skin.  It will stay all day and doesn't change colors as other foundations do on oily or combination skin.  It will feel like you wearing nothing after using liquid or cream foundation, so give it a chance. Hope this helps.

Re: Help with foundation

It cosmetics Cc cream is pretty good. My favorite winter foundation that was a random thing on sale I decided to try and ended up loving is Philosophy Hope in a Jar. It's great for combo skin. It doesn't cling to dry patches and does handle oil well. I have to blot with it (as with everything else I've tried!), but it covers my acne and doesn't exaggerate texture. I was truly surprised by how much I liked it. I've tried tons of foundations and hated how many looked with my acne such as double wear. This one is worth a try.

Re: Help with foundation

Have you tried any of the It Cosmetics CC foundations? I love them they are very light feeling. it doesn't even feel like you are wearing makeup and they cover well. The best part about the It Cosmetics line is that they contain ingredients that are actually good for your skin and help alleviate skin problems rather than add to them. The founder of the product suffers from rosacea and worked with specialists to develop products that covered up her redness and didn't cause her skin to become more irritated after using them like many other products. I was introduced to these products by my Mom and have fallen in love with them. I hope this helps.
