Color IQ

I was told my color iq# is 1R07, but what exactly does this mean when I'm trying to find a foundation shade. Beige, medium, cool, warm? 

Can some one translate so I can order makeup?

@ladyhawk54  Based on that Color IQ number, you would be neutral, leaning cool. If you want to find formulas that have that shade, you can enter 1R07 into the search bar.

You can use color IQ in the search bar (at least in the app) to find products that *should* match your skin tone, @ladyhawk54. That being said, as @SportyGirly125 mentioned it is being phased out and doesn't always match the best. But when I searched yours, it pulled up medium skin tone with neutral or pink undertones. If you've used any of the products before that match your skin tone, you can try the shade finder when  looking at a new product to match. Theres also the quiz, as was mentioned.

Thank you so much Haley that's exactly what I was looking for! Doing an online quiz is useless as you see yourself much differently. The IQ was done in store by one of the beauty specialists.

I will say, as was mentioned, that a lot of us who got our Color IQ done don't find that it always works the best. What, I, personally, feels that works best, @ladyhawk54 , is to in the foundation of interest, use the Shade Finder option and match to a foundation you currently use in a shade that works for you. Then, if nothing pops up, then maybe using Color IQ? But I hope it works!!

@ladyhawk54 Sephora no longer uses color IQ. I don’t know when they stopped using it it. Before it would match you to similar shades for other brands foundations but it wasn’t really accurate in my opinion.  Now you can take their foundation quiz online.
