Blush/Bronzer Smudges Foundation

I have never had this problem until recently; however, I am experiencing my foundation smudging after applying any blush or bronzer (cream or powder based). My skin/foundation will look blotchy as soon as I apply any blush or bronzer (using a stick, fingers, or brush). For reference, I have typically drier skin. My current routine is to start with skincare, the use Milk's HydroGrip primer, followed by Dior Forever Skin Glow Hydrating Foundation, set with either Hourglass' Veil setting powder or Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush flawless finish setting powder, and finally followed by blush and bronzer, which is usually Milk's blush and bronzer sticks or Dior's Rosy glow blush. I have tried switching up different brands, product types, application order, but have had no success. I have also tried using setting spray in between steps and/or taking more time in between steps.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?

Hi @Kalynek. Are these products new to you or have you been using them for a while without any issues?

Hi!

Most of the products I have been using problem free for a while; however, the Dior foundation is new to me.

@Kalynek It could be the foundation just isn’t compatible with your skin type. It might just be sitting on top but not actually setting. Have you tried switching back to another foundation you’ve used in the past?

Also, Sephora doesn’t automatically inform people when someone’s replied to a message. We usually get around that by tagging them with @. Otherwise, messages sometimes get missed. 🙂

Try a new brush and swirl the brush on the product for a different coverage.
