We can’t help but notice how much our “MOTD” (makeup of the day) – especially our complexion routines – has changed over the past year. With many of our social engagements gone virtual, bedrooms turning into home offices, and maskne becoming a new skin obstacle we never thought we’d have, we’re so curious: How has your foundation routine changed from a year ago compared to now?
Maybe you’ve ditched your full primer-concealer-foundation-powder routine and switched to something a bit simpler. Maybe you’ve found a new favorite tinted moisturizer or lightweight skin tint to match your pared-down schedule. Or maybe your foundation go-tos haven’t changed at all – anything to keep up some kind of routine, ya know?
For this Challenge, we want you to tag your typical complexion routine from a year ago – aka “THEN” (primers, concealers, setting powders count too!), and then below that, tag your current typical complexion routine “NOW.” We can’t wait to see how your makeup has changed to suit the times – and also see how many of you are still staying faithful to your same holy grails! Before the pandemic I had been have very happy with my skin and never encountered any real problems until recently. I tried to ignore , forget and was not willing to correct the problems that I now have concerning my skin ( before it got out of control).
Before the pandemic my skin care treatment was very basic. I just washed my face everyday , exfoliated every now and use the light translucent to tone down the shine.
Today that is not the case and. Im a Little unhappy 😥. Because State restrictions are being to lift and mask requirements are not required everywhere. I will no longer be able to hide under my face mask and ignore the problem I now have with my skin. It's time for me to acknowledge my skin problem concerns and find the correct products to use to repair my discolored, dry ,drab, dull, lifeless skin. I have been researching on the internet learning about skin care products , which products work better than others, they're effectiveness and what to expect after treatment. I know also learned about my skin and I understand that , although I don't have problem skin , I believed that I would never have problem skin. That was not true... I did nothing to preserve my skin in fact I've abused my skin without knowledge of the abuse until now. Now the damage is done , hopefully with the right products and showing my skin a little TLC the damage I've done can be corrected in time. I have just began my skin care treatment using #The Ordinary" . I spent many hours reading positive reviews and learning about a lot of the skin care products they make, and there are a lot. Now I have an idea what . Problems I have with my skin treatment. I have and idea of what to use , how the product is correctly uses and I also have a understand why certain #The Ordinary will be most effective to help me meet my skin care golds, always to finally be comfortable with ditching my face mask.

My new skin care treatment starts with me understanding that over time my skin has changed, Also understanding there are many reasons why my skin changed. New I'm aware and I will faithful following a daily skin care ritual , by property cleaning my face every day, applying a good hydrating lotion using sunscreen everyday. That will be good start for good start. I will periodically make adjustments to my skin care treatment process as needed.
