makeup separates around nostrils

No matter what I do after a while, the makeup around my nostrils separates and it looks all patchy. I thought it was because of the oil in my skin but I have oil in other places as well and that doesn't happen. Does anyone have any tricks to combat this besides removing the makeup and reapplying?
