What is a good Cleansing Oil?

Hi,

I am in search for a good cleansing oil that removes makeup and is good for sensitive skin. Any suggestions? What do you think about Tatcha and Shu Uemura?

Re: What is a good Cleansing Oil?

Hi @tvisram,

I use Tatcha's Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, and I have sensitive, oily combo, acne prone skin. I don't use it for removing makeup, since I don't really wear makeup, but it makes for a nice morning cleanser!

I would also suggest trying Boscia's MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil. Again, I'm not too sure how it works for removing makeup, but I love all skin benefits that this oil cleanser has! My skin always feels super soft after using this. I hope this helps.

p.s. I'm thinking of putting some makeup on just to test out how well these cleansers remove makeup. I'll let you know if I do 🙂

Cheers!
Nikko

@tvisram

I use Tata Harper Nourishing oil cleanser and find it absolutely lovely.  It is excellent for sensitive skin, it is excellent for "skin".

I have used Tatcha before and didn't care for it.  It clouded my eyes easily, and constantly.  I haven't tried Shu Uemura, but I know it is well loved by many.

@greenchilli I haven't had issues with the Tatcha oil cleanser clouding my vision, and I use it on my eyelids cause they can get pretty oily. I'm definitely going to be a lot more careful now lol.

Cheers!

Hi @NikkoBT

If it ain't broke....don't fix it!

We live in a good time where there are so many excellent products easily accessible.  Something for everyone.
