NARS All Day Luminous sliding right off my T-Zone

I want to love the NARS All Day Luminous foundation so bad!!! It's just sliding right off my T-Zone . . even if I want to itch my nose, my finger gets covered in foundation at the slightest touch.

Any recommendations on how to prevent this from happening and any recommendations for foundations that are fuller coverage and will not budge on combination skin?

Estee Lauder double wear is my holy grail but I would love to have a few more options.image1.JPG

Re: NARS All Day Luminous sliding right off my T-Zone

I wear this foundation all day. When I first tried it when it came out, I had a similar issue; it slid off and clung to dry patches. There a couple tricks I've found and some other ladies here who use it say the same:

1. A little does go a long way. Don't use too much. It's not one of those foundations that do well with the more is more theory.

2. Use a primer, especially in your TZone. I do Makeup Forever Primer in #1, which is more of a mattifying primer. It helps it set a little easier.

3. Set it with powder. I don't set my whole face, but I do set my TZone daily. I shuffle between the YSL Touche Eclat powder which is hella expensive, but have also used Ben Nye Powder (cheap) and several other mid range powders.

4. Think about your skincare. What are you using for skincare? Making sure your skin is in balance will help with any foundation.
