Fenty skin honest review

I absolutely love these two products. I have had them almost a week and love the way they make my skin feel and look. The cleanser does remove all of my makeup, but I also donโ€™t use very much makeup. The fat water is a nice additional cleanser and toner. However, if you use the cleanser cream and when you rub it in, use your nails kind of as a way to exfoliate(making sure it really penetrates the dirt and or makeup), when you apply the fat water, it DOES sting. The last 2 nights I noticed it right under my eyes. Closure to my cheeks and around my nose. So if your sensitive to witch hazel id recommend waiting a little after you wash your face. The fat water goes a long way as does the cleanser cream. I hope to update this in a couple weeks after use with positive results.

************UPDATE 2/12/2021***************

So after using the product for about 2 weeks, I sadly had to return them. I absolutely love the fenty line, but the new skin products sadly caused issues for me.

The cream face wash, I had a very hard time letting go of. In fact, I almost didnโ€™t. For it literally does clean the skin and removes makeup. As far as hyperpigmentation, it really did nothing for clearing it. Also, While the cream face wash is lightly scented, it wasnโ€™t overwhelming.

However, Slowly over the course of 2 weeks though, the burning I mentioned got worse, and so bad I actually got chemical burn or dry patches. I initially thought it may be the fat water, due to witch hazel. But that didnโ€™t make sense to me, cause I have facial piercings and use witch hazel to clean them. But I stopped using the fat water to be safe. But still the burning stayed even with the face wash. Whatever is in the face wash and fat water made my face burn so bad, it felt like a chemical peel with a sunburn.

I would try to just wait and let my face cool down before applying fenty makeup, but even waiting, once I applied a little concealer or foundation, it would burn.

So I know for me at least, it may have been an allergic reaction. I do have sensitive combination skin. I have never experienced this before sadly. I think it may have even caused a couple hyperpigmentation spots due to the dry patches.

no amount of moisturizer or even washing it off helped. It just burned.

I still think the line is wonderful, but I think you should use caution if you have the slightest of sensitivity to possibly witch hazel, or plant extracts.

I hope she comes out with a line for sensitive skin. I will keep my fingers crossed. I hope this helps someone. Not to stir you away, but to advise you to do your research first, and know what your skin can take.

Re: Fenty skin honest review

Hey, Iโ€™m wondering if itโ€™s a new formula

being used for the cleanser because, it caught only a little bit of my upper lip and it burned it severely. It has also changed colour, itโ€™s a brighter pink now and uneven because of the burning. Like a brighter pink outlining the lip on one side. The fat water doesnโ€™t seem to be what caused the burn. But I try to avoid my lips. Although my lips suffer, my face has been okay though but I just avoid it ever touching my lips. Hereโ€™s the before (clear gloss):

Hi, this happened to me and i'm so self conscious over it. May you tell me what you did to clear the burns? Thank you so much

Re: Fenty skin honest review

This happened to me as well, and itโ€™s only in the areas where itโ€™s hyper pigmented so Iโ€™m wondering if it peels the skin to remove the pigmentation, but I noticed areas around my mouth, my lips and side of my cheek where I had a pigmented spot gets dry patches, looks like I got burnt, and the skin starts to peeling but it hurts so much. Iโ€™m wondering now if itโ€™s a reaction Iโ€™m having to this product or what
