Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Hi!! I have discovered that the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is severely breaking me out. I’m wondering what ingredient(s) could be doing this!! If anybody knows, please help me out!! šŸ™‚

Re: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

@juliarhodie The surfactant is derived from coconut, which can be comedogenic for some. So I would say either that or maybe the rose water or oil?

Re: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Fresh facial products have always been hit or miss for me. I absolutely love the brand but anything that goes on my face, it's anyone's guess whether it will work or not. The soy cleanser burned my eyes like no other yet the nectar moisture glow works great for me in spring and summer.

RE: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Every single item I’ve tried from fresh (about 5) breaks me out horribly, I was so sad about it because I hear so many great things. I couldn’t really narrow down what was causing the issue.

Re: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Do you wear a 'full face' of makeup?

I live by Fresh soy @juliarhodie, but it's definitely not the deepest clean if you're removing several layers of makeup.  My best guess is that the cleanser itself isn't breaking you out, rather, you just need something better at removing product from your skin.

RE: Re: Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Hi! Thanks for responding. I don’t wear a full face of makeup. And i don’t actually use this cleanser to remove my makeup, either. For removing makeup, I prefer oils such as the Body Shop silky chamomile one, which I’ve been using for a long time and I know doesn’t break me out. I’ve eliminated skin care products from my routine days/weeks at a time and when I go back to using the fresh cleanser, I always break out.
