Tarte Paaarty Blush

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this prob and has some suggestions?

I got the small size of Tarte Paaarty Blush as my "birthday gift" and loved it. So I went in and picked up a full sized for my kit. When I got it home and compared it turned out that the birthday mini paaarty and full sized paaarty are a totally different color! I'm pretty disappointed because when I went back to find a closer match, Tarte's risqué was the closest, but way too brown for my skin.

Now I'm hoping to find something rosier or deeper pink than Paaarty and pinker than Risqué. Any thoughts?  This is what the mini shade looks like on...IMG_1291.JPG

Re: Tarte Paaarty Blush

So this post is super old, but I've run into the same problem and I'm wondering if you ever found a dupe for the mini size of tarte paaarty blush?

Re: Tarte Paaarty Blush

I have not! But I am going to check out the other suggestion in this thread of comments for sure! A friend gave me her sample of this shade and I dropped it!!!! I picked up the pieces and was using it till it just ran out. LOVE this shade on my skin !!

@the1337beauty If you want to find dupes for popular cosmetics, go to Temptalia's website; she's AMAZING and she's created a database that's absolutely loaded with makeup from all different brands and shows swatches and comparable dupes.

Re: Tarte Paaarty Blush

I just purchased the full sized blush and got it home and I totally agree! They are definitely NOT the same color and I am super disappointed. When I got it as the birthday gift with my olive skin I thought that this color wouldn't work but I absolutely LOVE the color and feel and how long it lasts. I have very oily skin, even at 52, and it doesn't turn cakey by the end of the day like other blushes do on my skin. I hate when this happens with makeup and it seems to be a going trend with makeup for me. While I am not one to spend a lot on my makeup, I will however spend money if it's something that is worth it and I thought this blush was! I will be returning it ASAP and inquire at the store why. I also just found out today that this shade is only sold at Sephora. I may contact Tarte and let them know that the colors are NOT the same! Good luck in your search! In my experience when I shade is discontinued it is so hard to find a good match!!
