Dewy highlight *without* coconut oil?

As we're (finally!) moving towards spring and summer, I start to transition to lighter cream/gel products over powders. I'm drawn to things I can quickly pat into my skin with my fingers and hit the door, minimal muss or fuss.

The product that continues to escape me is a dewy, lit-from-within highlighter that doesn't contain coconut oil, which I've recently learned doesn't agree with me. Almost everything I've wanted to try - RMS Living Luminizer, Glossier Haloscope - has the dreaded ingredient. Any suggestions for me?

Have you tried the Ciate Dewy Stix?

CIATé LONDON - Dewy Stix - Luminous Highlighting Balm

I love it, it looks super dewy and 'wet'!

Re: Dewy highlight *without* coconut oil?

@Cyncynn I haven't, thank you for including it!

@tastelikewater Maybe PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo Bronze

I checked the ingredients and it seems to be coconut derivatives and coconut oil free. Also the STILA - Heaven's Hue Highlighteris really nice but it has caprylyl glycol, which can be coconut or milk derived so I'm not sure if it would work for you. Lots of these glowy items have capric/caprilyc acids which are oil or animal derived. Are you sensitive to that too? Also, I haven't tried it yet but the Danessa Myricks Wet Look balm looks amazing for this type of look.

@makeitup305 That's such a great point, I've never focused specifically on caprylyl glycol, etc. I'll have to check the labels of my favorite products to see if anything contains it. Thanks for mentioning it!

@tastelikewater if derivatives are ok for you, the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator might be a good one to try. I've heard great reviews so I actually just ordered it from the  MJ site since they have 25% off and free shipping.

Peter Thomas Roth's 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Prism Cream was a product I recieved in my Play! boa and absolutely loved for this purpose. you have to use some kind of applicator, and I didn't realize sephora stopped carrying it, but it's still available on the PTR website and I don't see coconut oil in the ingredients

@Brutalitops  I'll check it out, thank you!

Re: Dewy highlight *without* coconut oil?

I also forgot!  Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm 0.5 oz/ 15 mL , though that one is less noticeable and probably better as just a moisturizer IMO
