Love seeing a new group added, @TeamBIC!  I like to try out different brow pencils--I'm not really loyal to any one.  Recently I've been having fun trying brow pens as well :).

@TeamBIC love the name.  My brows are sparse so I use MAC Brun to fill the front part of my brows and then use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz® Ultra-Slim Precision Detailing Eyebrow Pencil to shape the tail of the brow and seal it in with Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel Mini Clear

I wish I could say my brows did not require a whole routine, but thanks to my overplucking in the junior high days, I totally need to fill them in every morning to feel like myself 😄 Ironic because my brows grow like crazy in the areas that are not spares, but in the sparse areas, no such luck,. Every couple days, I have to make sure I go in with my TWEEZERMAN Stainless Steel Slant Tweezer to pluck those strays because it doesn't take long to get from few strays to out of control brow! I love the Tweezerman Tweezers because they are sharp and do not dull as quick as other pairs of tweezers annd makes plucking less of a struggle!

I generally stick to shu uemura Brow: Sword or IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil Universal Brunette to do the quick fill in, and then go in with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz® Ultra-Slim Precision Detailing Eyebrow Pencil to define the shape! I will occasionally, also use Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel Super Model Brow. I love this, but because of the current situation, I work from home and no one sees my brows except my husband, so I usually reserve this for days that I actually make it out of the house! I love that this gel contains Vitamin E and castor oil because really my brows need all the help they can get! 🙂

Wait...when did Sephora start carrying Shu beauty? Brow Sword sounds like a must-have, @myxducky 🤩

@eshoe I wonder if Shu beauty is something on available across the border up here in Canada? I really love the twist up/refillable brow swords as opposed to the traditional pencils that need to be sharpened, mostly because I'm lazy and because it's easier to maintain the shape since we don't have counters up here to sharpen them into the sword shape.

Ahhh yes maybe it is just up in Canada, @myxducky. the shape reminds me of the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Waterproof Easy Shape & Fill Eyebrow Pencil . The formula was too waxy for me, and pulled out hairs as I used it.

Oh yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. I've tried a few pencils that did the same hair pulling as you described.

Brows are the one makeup area I never go without, night or day, so this group is especially inviting, @TeamBIC!

Day: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz® Ultra-Slim Precision Detailing Eyebrow Pencil in Chocolate is the perfect match for my light brown brows. For a more dramatic look I set with Glossier's Boy Brow in Brown (the Clear leaves them looking slightly ashy). For a softer look, Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel Clear is my go-to. 

Night: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dual-Ended Fill & Define Powder Perfect Brow Pencil in Soft Brown for a subtle, filled-in look.

@eshoe absolutely! I can go out bare face, no problem,  but not doing my brows... can't even fathom it! But part of it is because both of my brows are spare asymmetrically and without a bit of filling in, it just makes something look off.

My brows definitely need some filling in, too @myxducky. Plus, one side tames perfectly well, while the other is a rebel and takes some coaxing to look respectable. I feel your pain!

@eshoe   I agree with you about the importance of brows.  It makes such a difference, especially if they are sparse, or light.

@Ispend2much6 I remember camping with my family when I was younger, and my Mom would always do her brows. Sometimes a full face, but at a minimum her brows. I could not understand why she felt the need to do that, when we were out in the middle of nowhere. Now I know! With good brows, no other makeup is even necessary. Fun, but not necessary. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one who feels the need to have my brows done 24/7😊
