Our founder Selena Gomez believes everyone is unique and rare. But today, too many people feel trapped by unrealistic expectations that are impossible to achieve. Rare Beauty is about accepting who you are – and finding the beauty in your imperfections.

Our mission is to shape conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health. We will work to help people get more access to support and services. We want to help people feel more authentically connected to one another and less alone in this world, which is why we are so excited to open this Community thread on all things Rare Beauty.

This thread will be a place where we share sneak peeks of product, show off swatches, go behind the scenes, and more. This will also be a space to check in with each other and connect beyond our love of beauty, so please share your questions and any feedback with us - don't be shy.

Great info thank you @eshoe ! I could tell you are good at calligraphy by your photo 🥰. I think I received a liner in a beauty box that worked ok for me with practice but I get impatient so I end up just using my VB pencil. 😣 I may have to give it another try. I agree, love a thin thin line!

@Sunnysmom awww thank you! It’s (calligraphy) a continual labor of love to improve. I still haven’t tried anything from her line, but love the aesthetics🤩

Today was a virtual masterclass with @RareBeautybySG @at 6:00 p.m EST. After a long time I was actually excited about an event. All set on my iPad at 5:50 through the link sent by Sephora through email. Then the waiting begin. I waited until 6:45 p.m and status stayed “ waiting for host to start the meeting” Then I sent a message through FB waited for response a while and left computer for ten minutes. When I came back I found through FB team that the event has started and ended at its time and there were some technical problems that kept me from attending that event.

A very disappointing first experience with the brand. 
It was a complete wastage of my one hour staring at the screen waiting for event to start.

Was anyone of you actually able to attend the event or they did it without an audience? 
Why the links weren’t properly tested before being sent out?

So I hear the shade finder is amazingly accurate buttttt I alternate between #50WN in Natasha Denona and #310 in Fenty. It gave me #240W and #320W in Rare Beauty, which would be a good match?

@ChelsCV Based on your Fenty shade we recommend the shade 320W or if you'd like something 1 shade lighter (based on your Natasha Denona shade) we recommend 310W. Most people can wear 1-2 different shades based on your preference. Thank you for your message!

I'm most excited about the liquid blushes! I've seen lots of try on videos on YouTube and was immediately drawn to the blushes! I also appreciate the thought behind the brand, the detail in product names, and the positivity the brand represents.

I was also excited about this line. Picked up a liquid lipstick today in Heroic and I LOVE it. Pretty sure I’ll pick up a couple more. 😀 Very pleased with this line so far.

Today I went in store and I saw the employees have the rare beauty shirts by any chance can us costumers have access to buy those shirts Because I fell in love with the shirt and I would really like to buy one
