Ooh thank you! Do you have the matte lip crayon in Cognac, by chance? That's what it most looks like to me.

Eta: similar, but cognac has more red, while whiskey is darker and more black brown

Hmm what about Marc Jacobs Mahogany? Or I think 011, the brown one? I want these so bad but am trying to hold off lol.

Whiskey is by far the darkest brown shade I own.  Mahogany on me is somewhere between Bite Nori and Molasses, much lighter than this.

I can post a swatch of the two later for you.

I have Mahogany and Cognac (I know @Mochapj does too), and Mahogany is lighter. It's probably closest to Deborah in mocha's arm swatch above. So, if Cognac is lighter than Whiskey, Mahogany is lighter still.

Thistle to cava

Mocha, you read my mind!  Thanks so much for the comparison to Prey. I have Thistle in my cart, but now seeing it here next to Prey (which I own), I'm not sure I need it. Do you think they are different enough to warrant a purchase, or are they just too similar??

@pixiedust2 in swatch they look practically identical, but on my lips Thistle is a bit darker (which is what I was hoping for)

Prey makes me look sort of dead, but Thistle does not.  Also, I prefer the BITE formula; RdF's Forbidden formula is a bit too dry for my tastes.

But, if you like Prey already, you probably don't need both. 😉

Thanks so much for the quick reply Mocha!  God, I'm so torn. I agree about the RDF formula. It doesn't apply smooth on me. The color is a tad light on me too, but I use a liner underneath to deepen it. But your Thistle lip swatch is so pretty. What to do? LOL. I know I'm gonna talk myself into buying this 😄

Well I think it looks different than LLLR #5 which I returned as it didn't do anything for me unfortunately. May have to pick up thistle now. Thanks for all the swatches Mocha and Veronika!

Oh ok, its def different but i really like it here. My order finally shipped and i ordered yesterday 9am EST smh. I saw they updated the description to a mauve taupe tho

@aviscardi Prey is a lipstick from Rituel de Fille. The formula isn't as nice as BITE.
