givenchy is one of the luxury beauty brands that has a firm place in my heart. my first luxury lipstick (rouge interdit in 'pretty rose') was givenchy, and i treasured it. 

i'm not exactly on top of 'new releases' as such (though of course i'll share here as i stumble upon news), but i wanted to create a space for my fellow Givenchy beauty lovers !

Now I wish I had ordered Rose Revelateur before using my online code. We don't have it in stores here, or at least, we haven't had it so far. Will definitely check.

Did anyone pick up the Midnight Skies Rouge Interdit lipstick? The color looks gorgeous on the model, but I'm unable to find swatches online.

I tried on the limited edition GIVENCHY - Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick - 26 Midnight Red from the Fall Midnight Skies collection while I was in store. I wish I had a photo, but I just wanted to share that it is much lighter in color than the name suggests. It's a bright red/pink with peachy gold metallic pearl. Pretty, but not at all what I expected. Has anyone else tried this out? What do you think? From the promos I thought it would be darker, with some plum in it. Ideally I'd love a lipstick version of Chanel Taboo nail polish!

That color sounds really nice. I wish my Sephora store had it so I could try it out.  @playingdressup

I have also been hunting for swatches of Rose Revelateur. I know it's "Made to Measure dark pink", so it's color-adapting, but I would still like to see how it looks on a few people before I buy it.

Edit: thought I had the product tag working, but it isn't showing up right, sorry! Oh and also, you posted the one with the pink ribbon, that actually is Rose Revelateur, Midnight Skies has a black ribbon

I think that's an issue with the tag feature, I picked the correct color & the text is right, but the thumbnail it pulls up is the wrong one. The Rose Revelator looks really pretty too. I will say though, the marbling on my red one is no where near as noticeable as it is in the product photos. The color itself is comfortable & pretty though! If I see Rose Revelator I'm my store, I'll swatch it for you! (There was a slot for it, but no tester last time I was there.) @gingerleigh
