Thought I'd start a thread just for Viseart since so many of us LOVE them. ![]()
I love to encourage a small brand as opposed to a brand where you pay for the name. The eye shadow quality can't be beat!

Price breakdown for those interested
Saw this on Facebook a while back and thought I'd add it here.
A 12 color Viseart Eyeshadow Palette is $80 USD (before pro discount). Each eyeshadow pan is 2 grams and valued at approx. $6 ($3.00 per gram).
MAC has reduced the price of their single eyeshadows refills from $10 USD to $6 USD each. So 12 colors at the new reduced price would be $72 USD (before pro discount). Add the $8 USD empty palette to store them and we're back to $80 USD.
EXCEPT: Each MAC eyeshadow pan is only 1.3 grams ($4.62 per gram). You're getting only 15.6 grams of product, as opposed to the 24 grams of eyeshadow in the Viseart palette. That's a loss of over 8 grams of product.
FINAL ANALYSIS:
It would cost $119 USD for MAC to duplicate the Viseart palette (24 grams of MAC eyeshadow at $4.62 per gram and $8 for the palette).
I don't think you need to worry about Viseart = ND.
I own most of the current Viseart line and while I've never tried any ND, I have not found Viseart to have any of the issues that people have mentioned ND having (patchiness, short wear, fallout, etc)
It is totally just a personal aversion. I see the finish and it takes me back to irritated eyelids. I'll get over it. In the meantime, I'm sure I'll feel compelled to try Viseart once they release something in the color families I'm interested in (Paris Nudes definitely interests me, but I've heard from a few people that it really isn't pigmented).
@Libellules Paris nudes shows up well on me so it will definitely be pigmented enough on you 😉 I might have to do swatches of that one too.
Totally agree with @MK89! @Libellules Paris Nudes is a great choice.
It does seem different from some of the other palettes, but I think it's because it doesn't have drastically dark shades like many of the others - more of the midtones. And they're muted. So they don't pop as much as other palettes, but Paris is just so wearable!
I swatched 3 of the palettes a while ago (including Paris):

Thank you @lachaton! Oooh - Bridal Satins looks very promising too O.O. Hmmmm...I thought it would be darker.
@Libellules glad it helps! I love Bridal Satins. It's less loved by others, but all the shades are satins/shimmers and they're very pretty. I think the Bridal Satins colours in general are just flattering to my skin tone!
@lachaton, I think you might be referring to me. 😉
I have been giving my Bridal Satin a little more love lately, and the palette is growing on me. I still like to add in some mattes, though.
Thanks @lachaton I thought you and I were pretty close in coloring, but I could totally be wrong. The purple looks very dark in the product image, but much more lavender in the photos. Is it a trick of the swatch photo? Or are the colors lighter than in the product photo?
I think the product photo is a little darker. But I wouldn't call the purple lavender either - to me, it is more of a true mid-toned purple. Still lighter than the product photo.
@MK89 I'd *LOVE* to see swatches of Paris Nudes whenver you have the time. Thank you! 🙂
@Libellules. I can try to do some too, Im very fair with neutral tones (I think- I always get a little confused about how to truly judge my skin). Im also not as good at getting a thick swatch as some folks are but I can try 🙂
Will do @Libellules! Maybe I need to start a blog with all this swatching I do. It's actually pretty fun for me 😉
@MK89 Hah, that's not a bad idea. I was thinking the same after the recent reviews I've been giving. Blogging is hard though. You have to have a constant flow of new content for it to "take off."
@Libellules Yeah that's why I've been putting it off for so long. It is a lot of work to keep it going, and I also don't want to get sucked into buying new things all the time just to blog them, you know? I already need to be on a no-buy. Maybe I would just review all the things I already have 😄
@MK89 Yes! I started one last year, but gave up a week in :x. I've tried the blogging thing before, so I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to make it work, I'm just not sure I have it :x.
There are swatches of all the palettes in jozkid's thread @Libellules
http://community.sephora.com/t5/Eyes/VISEART-ALERT/m-p/2002035#M27079
Out of all their palettes, Paris nudes is the most muted, but I don't think it is sheer at all.
the colors aren't as vibrant/saturated as other palettes, so it doesn't seem like it has as much impact.
@Anonymous I don't have any of the other theory palettes. The lovely ladies below seem to know more about comparisons with other TF quads. I only have Cocoa Mirage, Nude Dip and Honeymoon. @jozkid is getting Cashmere this week, so hopefully we'll see swatches, joz? 🙂
@Anonymous sorry to butt in. I swatched all 3 at the makeup show...and to me the other 2 are not similar to any of the TF palettes. Having said that, they're both cool toned...so you need to want that.
