I came across an interesting video on YT about Lush's take on Mica and how it is sourced sometimes through child labour (and deaths), and how the brand uses synthetic mica instead..it was pretty eye opening to watch! I am glad more companies are taking ownership of where and how their ingredients are sourced or produced.

OMG i love the Mother’s Day collections! Between the BOGO sale, V-Daycollection and community favourites special edition perfumes on the LUSHUK website I did some major damage already these past few months and wastrying to leave off further LUSH purchases until i had finished the megastock but no... Had to have at least a few of these i couldn’t resist sojust placed an order (2 of the bear massage bars - got one last year and loved the toasted spicy caramel scent it was lovely for winter). Alsogot the chocolate bunny scrub bc I saw that it had mimosa absolute (also one if the ingredients in the Sakura bath bomb) and I was dying to see how the mimosa would pair with cocoa absolute. Also purchased a solid conditioner of the American Pie still in stock (got the non naked version a month ago, large size and I’m almost done already) as well as the rose mariposa and incredible mom bath bombs (tried the incredible mom last year and it had a lovely scent) - Im surprised at the price point of the incredible mum because it has a fair bit of pricey orange blossom absolute and it’s a full sized bomb but it’s on the cheaper side price wise - go figure!
