You guys! I got both the highlights soo happy! I went 20 mins bfor close lastnight and the very nice manager held the last oh darling for me when i called ahead..i swatched and loved shaft of gold so got both and couple of samples too. I moved this month and It was my first time at this bay/mac and very pleased with the service. She offered and gave my toddler a kitty makeover and had her wear the drawstring mac bag as a backpack..my daughter left beaming ..best experience ever at a makeup store. I will def be giving them more business.

I am now officially obsessed with Oh Darling! Been wearing it non-stop since getting it and can't get over dat glow!!

Nordstrom online had both Oh Darling (now oos) and Shaft of Gold on their website about a few minutes ago. As of right now (12:15 am pst), only Shaft of Gold is still available.

Oh, and Oh Darling and Shaft of Gold on me! These swatches were swiped 3-4 times onto my wrist, after swiping once over the powder. 

When applied like this, SoG is like a peachy bronze on me, and OD a champagne gold.

OOOOOH, NOW you are making me want SOG! Are you around NC30-35ish like me? I was wondering what it would look like on someone lighter skinned with yellow/olive tones. 🙂

I think I am actually more like NC25-NC30 right now 🙂 My arm is a bit more tanned than my face. I never actually got matched to it, but based on foundation shades I would say I'm in that range (my Sephora Color IQ is 2y06...and that's the correct one, not the crappy code that I was matched with using the tool!)

We're about the same! I'm 2y06 - 2Y07 depending on season.

woohoo! So any foundation colours you wear, I can wear too! 😄

The darkest I've gotten is probably a 2y08, but that was when I didn't wear SPF during the summer. With SPF in my primer (Hourglass) and foundation now, I don't get very dark anymore :S

 Awesome…you aren't much different than me. I'm NC30 all the time and NC35 in the summer. YAY! I may just snap up SOG tonight. 🙂

I would say out of all of the above, YSL Rose Boheme reminds me the most of Evening Rendezvous. It is distinctly purple (rather than berry purple, which I think Barberry is) and slightly muted with a bit of a grayish tone. You can really tell in the photo comparing the lipstick bullets. Just a tiny bit of gray, not enough to be death-like. 010 is the most "fuchsia" purple between 010, Barberry and ER.

You're welcome! It is definitely noticeably different, I most definitely do not have a straight up dupe for it. Maybe not to unobservant hubbies, but definitely to a makeup lover. If my lips were better I'd swatch on my lips...

I'd say it's 90% similar to Rose Boheme and 85% similar to Barberry and 010. Barberry's the redder relative whereas 010 is more fuchsia/blue toned but both have their similarities to ER.

I fell for the hype. I don't own anything from MAC besides two lipsticks but I swung by a counter tonight and they still had it. If someone really wants it and cant find it pm me and I can probably get my hands on one
