suggestions to replace Aveda Shampure?

I've been using Aveda's Shampure for a long time now and I'm pretty happy with it. But now that I'm running low, I'd rather get a shampoo from Sephora to reduce the orders I'm making.

I'm not picky about shampoo because to be honest, I don't really notice any difference from one brand to another, I just prefer that it doesn't smell too strongly. I use Shampure because I like its spa-ish scent and it doesn't linger and compete with my perfume. The only trouble I've ever had was with shampoos from health food stores like Avalon. They don't seem to rinse out properly or clean my hair, it feels like it builds up at my roots, I'm not sure why.

Other than that, my hair is getting very long thanks to isolating so it's dry at the ends but my roots can be oily and I wash every other day.

I'm thinking of getting

Of these, I've tried the IGK because I got a sample and there was no product buildup but I only used it for a few days.

Would really appreciate any advice, thank you ❤️

Do you use conditioner?
Shampure is unique as it redistributes oil from the scalp to the ends of the hair. Sephora only carries one shampoos that does that;

KéRASTASE - Specifique Shampoo for Oily Scalp which is sold out.
Alternatively, you could go with Peppermint Shampoo from Malin & Goetz. I do like those ingredients, however peppermint does tend to linger in the hair.

@GG84 Oh wow, I had no idea it did that! Maybe that's why I stuck with it for so long despite not consciously acknowledging any difference.

Thank you for the recommendations ❤️ It's too bad the Kerastase is out of stock, but I noticed some other shampoos are too.

I do use a conditioner, Kevin Murphy's Hydrate Me rinse. I have like a jumbo salon sized bottle of it under the sink and am hoping current restrictions don't last so long that I have to replace that too!

Oh ok if you use Hydrate Me you can just go with a normalizing shampoo like the Bumble and Bumble. I was worried your ends might dry out!

Re: suggestions to replace Aveda Shampure?

@GG84 Thank you! I have tried soooo many conditioners over the years and definitely notice differences between those. The Hydrate Me + OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme are a killer combo, I am so relieved I stocked up on Olaplex the week before the restrictions came down.

@pocketvenusI really like the LIVING PROOF - Restore Shampoo as it's super gentle especially at my ends. Not to give another suggestion but TOGETHER BEAUTY - Love Lather Moisture Shampoo is a nice gentle option and it smells kinda lightly coconutty with a bit of citrus but not strong by any means. The living proof smells much stronger IMO (though still not terrible) and is sort of a generic "shampoo"/fresh scent if that makes any sense

@Brutalitops Thank you, I appreciate the scent descriptions 🙏
