oily fine hair

I have super greasy hair thats also super fine. Does anyone recommend any products

Re: oily fine hair

My hair is like yours. To help with the oil I use Christopher Robins Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt. Another great shampoo, and conditioner, is Briogeo Blossom & Bloom. For volume, while blow drying, I use Alternas Caviar  Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist. It gives me volume and leaves my hair soft and bouncy. It's amazing! There are 3 hairsprays I really like: Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray, this is great for a light hold or to use for some extra volume. Bumble & Bumbles Strong Finish hairspray is good for a stronger hold that doesn't weigh down your hair. What I just staring using is Verb's Ghost hairspray. It's much less expensive but works a lot like the Living Proof spray but with a little more hold.

@Teresa505

I have super oily hair as well. What finally worked for me, a bit counter-intuitively, was a lightweight moisture shampoo. I recommend Nexxus HydraLight; it was light enough for my fine hair, but provided enough moisture to slow down the oil production. I needed a heavier conditioner for my ends, but kept it away from my roots as it was a bit too heavy for my oily and fine roots; Nexxus Humectress is a great choice if your ends are dry like mine, or there's a HydraLight conditioner if they aren't.

Washing more frequently won't slow down oil production, and is bad for your hair in general.

Another staple product for me is dry shampoo. I use it nightly to extend my wash timeframe...I now routinely get three days in between washings, where I used to have to wash every day.

Good luck!

Re: oily fine hair

i would say to just find a shampoo for oily hair, it'll help with the excess oil in your hair, wash your hair more often and only use your conditioner on the tips of your hair (so don't condition your scalp!)

RE: oily fine hair

Make sure you aren't conditioning your roots! That helped me a ton.
