dry damaged hair

does anyone have any recommendations on good products/ shampoos and conditioners to use for very dry hair. I was bleaching my hair for a year and just recently went back to brown but it’s so damaged I can barely style it or straighten it since it’s so damaged.

Oribe's Gold Lust line changed my hair from literally breaking off and falling out to healthy and strong. Especially the pre-shampoo and letting conditioner sit for HOURS even overnight on dry clean hair. I also get regular keratin treatments and switched from flat ironing to rough blow dry with L'oreal mythic oil heat protecter and the flat Amika heat brush.

The only thing that worked for me was Iles Formula. The Conditioner is amazing. Check out their reviews.

I recommend trying the Briogeo conditioning spray and the leave-in conditioner. A little bit expensive, but I've found that it works because I also used to balayage my hair before going back to black. I also like the Biolage Ultra Hydrasource shampoo and conditioner!

@amylaraine I recently discovered It's a Ten Miracle Leave-In Product and the hyper is well deserved.  My hair hasn't looked this good in years.  I rec spraying it onto your palms and then distributing.  🙂

@amylaraine a few questions...18 years experience in the hair industry here. When your hair is wet, if you were to let it air dry would you say your hair dries quickly or would you say it takes a long time to dry? Do you get a lot of tangles when your hair is wet or does it brush out fairly quickly?

My hair was really damaged from dying too. I started using the Alterna repair shampoo and conditioner in February and it's totally transformed my hair. it used to be dry and brittle but now it's soft, shiney, and looks healthy.
