Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I would like to know how to get more volume in my hair without any products. My hair is straight and sort of short by the way.

Thanks

RE: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get the Dyson Air Wrap Styler based on styling damp hair with no extreme heat . I purchased the full set online thru Sephora it has changed my life. Hardly use any product hair is so healthy! Dyson has people who can teach you how to use it! It smooths straightens and adds volume with out the high heat with flat irons and curling irons. Dyson has videos on Dyson.com for both the Air Wrap Styler and the Supersonic Blowdryer

Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sleep with my hair in a buff and plop it in a old pajama shirt to dry. My hair is 3a/b though, so it is far from straight.

Re: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you do not want to use any products to get volume in your hair I would just invest in a teasing brush. They don't damage your hair like a comb and you should be able to get one at Sallys for about $6

Hope this helps - Karen

Wow!

Re: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love everything living proof, but I also love Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1 Texturizing Finishing Spray 4.2 oz Blanc Scent and Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Volume Texture Spray 3.6 oz/ 150 mL

I personally think the Bumble and Bumble has the best hold, but I love the drybar for taking picks because it gives instant easy volume even if it falls out.

RE: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huge Living Proof advocate - I have long, thin, colour-treated hair. I’m always been seeking volumizing products since the Big Sexy Hair days. I use the Living Proof TBD Multi-Tasking Styler and the Full Root Lift spray to blow out my hair after washing. Once dry and styled, I mix in some Full Dry Volume Blast. Love this combo, highly recommend for similar hair types.

Re: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been using a crimper for years in bottom sections of my hair, works like a charm and it’s long lasting 🙂

youll just need to play around with which sections to crimp so it doesn’t show through

Re: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Anonymous My hair (curly, so not the same) gets a lot more volume if it dries without gravity weighing it down. it's possibly more work than you might want to do, but blow drying your hair, especially if you're bent over so you're drying your hair "up" as it were, or using a brush to lift it would probably do the trick. Otherwise I got nothing

Re: Volume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do this same thing and it has done wonders for my thick and heavy hair. I love the  Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer as it makes my hair smooth and less frizzy. I try to use a brush and turn my head down and blowdry that way. Hope this helps.
