Toddler Hair

Hello everyone! I am curious what to use on curly toddler hair. My 2 year old has beautiful curly hair and I’m not sure if I should be using anything specific on it or just the baby shampoo we are currently using. TIA!

@munchkinx3 My son had really curly hair that we didn't cut till he was almost 4.  People confused him all the time as a girl.  We used the normal Aveeno or Cetaphil baby shampoo.  After we dried his hair we would spray Honest Conditioning Detangler.

@munchkinx3  My toddler has super fine curly hair as well. I use a clean baby shampoo to was and I’ve been using Briogeo Superfoods Banana + Coconut Nourishing Conditioner 12.5 oz / 369 mL on the ends. I use a leave in conditioner as well since it tangles so much. We actually cut it a few months ago and lost 50% of the curl which is super sad so I’m trying to keep it super hydrated hoping they come back! If you have any tips I’d love to hear them!!

@ather I didn't want to cut my son's hair either because he had gorgeous curls.  My husband hated combing it and we cut it when he was almost 4 and he has some waves still but the curls never came back.  Plus people kept calling him a girl.

@SportyGirly125  Awwww 🥲 my little guy is 3 and we just cut it. He’s got super blonde curly hair and everyone calls him a girl despite him dressing like a boy and wearing hats thy definitely look like a boy. We had to cut it because it was past his bum. It’s getting pretty long again too. His front curls super good the back is mostly wavy now. I ask him if he wants it cut and he says no. So we keep long.

@ather I don't think my son's was ever that long but it was way past his shoulders.  We had to put it in a man bum to keep it out of his face at times.  I still really miss it.

@SportyGirly125  Awwww I love the man buns on little boys!!! Mine won’t let me. Super sad. He usually has a hat on all the time so it’s not in his face.
