Suggestions for Greasy Hair?

I have thin and fine color treated hair. I have to wash it every day or else it looks dirty and greasy, even with dry shampoo! Is there anything I can do in my hair care routine to keep it from looking like that just a day after washing it? For context I double shampoo and condition ends daily but I don’t do anything else aside from purple shampoo twice weekly.

@lovelyswiftie My daughter has very similar hair concerns as you do, and she has had luck with a shampoo (sadly not sold at Sephora) by milk_shake.

Her stylist also suggested she use a natural boar bristle brush for oil control. Hope you find what works for you.

@lovelyswiftie Consider a scrub or clarifying/detox shampoo at least once a week as your first shampoo.  I like K18 Biomimetic Hairscience PEPTIDE PREP™ Clarifying Detox Shampoo 8.5 oz / 250 mL , OUAI Detox Clarifying Shampoo with Apple Cider Vinegar , Kérastase Energizing Scrub: Purifying Scrub for Oily Scalp 8.5 oz/ 250 mL , and shu uemura Ashita Supreme Purifying Sea Salt Scalp Scrub 11.4 oz/ 325 g .

Use lightweight styling products, and use them sparingly.

I avoid dry shampoos.  They just add more "gunk" to my hair.

Rinse really well!

You could also try a shampoo designed for oily hair.  I like Kérastase Genesis Strengthening Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair 8.5 oz / 250 mL .  Oribe makes one too, but I haven't tried it.
