SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

Hi !

Did any1 here use those very famous Sugarbear gummies for hair ? I did use them for a month &  my hair did grow long but cant see any change in the volume 😐 !

One of my friend suggested Biotin capsules instead !

Any leads on which of these or any-other products help in restoring hair growth for thinning hair ?? I've got really serious hair fall to deal with 😞 ! Help !!!

Thanks a ton !

Re: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

My dermatologist recommended rogain to regrow thick hair. It does work just gotta have patience.

Re: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

I used to work in the health food industry, and got a lot of questions about/have tried a bunch of things for hair growth.

Biotin can help you grow more hair, and some people have success with biotin reversing hair loss (to an extent). However, biotin is a B vitamin, and B vitamins absorb better together, so if you want to try biotin I would suggest taking a multivitamin or B-complex first, and then taking extra biotin with it if you want.

Collagen and silica (which your body uses to make collagen) can help your hair grow thicker. I used to take silica tablets with spirulina and they helped a lot with my hormonal hair loss.

A lot of it goes back to diet though. If you're deficient in iron or calcium for example, you'll see the effects in your hair. Also making sure you're getting enough Omega fatty acids will help.

Personally, I love coconut and olive oil hair treatments, though it takes longer to see results. With anything you try, the way your body handles/absorbs the treatment is going to influence how quickly you see results. With the silica pills I noticed results in a month, but for some people it can take a couple of months.

Re: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

I would suggest you give Nioxin hair products a shot. Read the reviews at Amazon or elsewhere and youll see that a great many people have found that brand to be very effective - myself included! Basically Nioxin cares for your scalp and hair follicles and sets the stage for hair to grow. Nioxin makes no claims of reversing hair loss yet certainly seems beneficial for many.

I take slow-fe iron a couple of times a week, and biotin. Also lots of protein and fats . from natural, unsalted nuts.

My hair was thinning following a brief illness but has reversed completely and its all grown back - kind of weird having a ton of 6-8 inch new hairs grown in amongst the rest of my longer hair, but I'll take it.

Seriously, look into Nioxin and be sure to eat well and get lots of sleep!

Good luck. 🙂

@grizzlymaze This is so helpful! I will be looking into Nioxin. I have heard great things myself and then forgot all about it.

OMG, @HarikaN!   I am so happy I saw your post because my first order of Sugar Bear Hair vitamins literally just arrived at my front door!

My daughter has been begging me to get them because supposedly Kylie says they are amazing for hair growth.  We obviously haven't started taking them yet, so I can't speak to their effectiveness in volume, but I am happy to hear they are good for growth (I'm trying to grow out my layers that I am super tired of and she just wants to grow out her hair).

I used to take Phytophanere supplements, but switched to the CVS Brand Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins about a year ago because I read several reviews that they worked just as well and they are a lot cheaper - both seemed to work the same for hair length and both did wonders for my nails.  I've also taken biotin supplements in addition to the hair/skin/nails vitamins for about 6 months.  None of these seemed to make my hair thicker.

Since biotin is a key ingredient in Sugar Bear Hair, I honestly don't think that you would get better results from switching to just biotin.

I have also heard a lot about Hum Hair Supplements, but it appears to have less ingredients than Sugar Bear, Phyto and my CVS supplements, so I'm not sure if it would be much better.

The only other thing I can think is to talk to your doctor or dermatologist for suggestions and to rule out any other underlying cause.

I wish you the best of luck, @HarikaN!

Sorry I don't have much more to offer, but I wanted to thank you for your review of Sugar Bear Hear! ❤️

RE: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

I've been doing coconut treatment on my hair and it's been helping.

Re: RE: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

Hey !

Thanks for the tip. Is there any easy way to get rid of the oil later ? Coz too much of shampoo to get rid of oil seems making my hair dry 😐 !

Thanks,

Harika

I having a similar issues. Biotin will take a few months but it should help in the long run.

RE: SugarBear Vs Biotin Vs etc !

I've heard good things about biotin! It just takes a while to see a difference, maybe a month or so.
