Shampoo recommendation needed

I wash my hair every other day, and find that on my hair washing day my roots look very greasy. I don't use any products in my hair besides shampoo and leave-in conditioner. I use the Ouai Detox Shampoo once a week, but still have the same issue. Any recommendations?

My sister used to have the same issue, but now uses the Virtue Hydrating Recovery Shampoo and that has worked very well for her. I'm looking for something less expensive though.

I’ve recently started using the L’Oreal Professionnel Absolute Repair Molecular Shampoo and the Absolute Repair Mask and my hair has never looked or felt better.

@michellek05 The Bumble and bumble Thickening Volume Shampoo keeps my roots clean without drying out my ends, and is a little less expensive than the Virtue shampoo.
