Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I’m looking for a new shampoo and conditioner brand that’s actually good for my hair! I don’t want sulfates or parabens in the shampoo and no silicone in the conditioner. Does anyone have a good recommendation? I’m nervous about trying a new brand but need a change

RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I recently started using the Verb hydrating shampoo and conditioner, and am really liking the products so far. I also use bumble and bumble hairdressers invisible oil shampoo and conditioner and they are great. I have long, thick, wavy, frizzy hair.

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I've recently started using Klorane hair care products. They have a nice variety of shampoo/conditioners for different hair types (oily, dry, blonde, etc). All of their products are sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) free. I'm super nervous about changing hair care because of fall out, but there is definitely less fallout with these products.

Pureology hydrate is amazing

I’ve used the living proof line for couple years off and on. I love all the products! I know u will too. Give it a try and u will not be disappointed!! Living proof perfect hair day shampoo and conditioner and I love bumble bumble hairdressers oil shampoo and conditioner.

Briogeo hair care has worked wonders for my hair! I have thick frizzy hair. But they do have different shampoo and conditioners for all types of hair. Definitely worth the splurge!

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I naturally have really healthy and thick hair and I used not really use heat for my hair so I always used the head and shoulders and even now that I curl my hair almost twice each weeks my hair stay very healthy with head and shoulders.

I just got hooked on a couple new products-Moroccanoil Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner and the Christophe Robin Sea Salt Scrub. I use the scrub about once a week with the Moroccanoil Conditioner and absolutely loce it!!!

RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I recently switched to Iles Formula. I purchased it here on Sephora. I’m actually really loving it. I’m always hesitant to try new things too but I actually am obsessed now. You know what, I’m concerned about what’s in my products too and I know that these are free of parabens, sulfates and silicones too. Give it a try. Oh also, smell is heavenly.

Re: RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

You must really love this company - or work for them - every post you have ever written has been about the wonders of Iles Formula.

Re: RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I don’t work for any brand and when there’s a product I love and a post asking for help or recommendations that is related to the product I love I always sing it’s praises. It’s sad to be so cynical, and brings the community down when we cast aspersions against one another. If you have a genuine concern, you can of course report it to the mods, but if not the let’s support each other passionately sharing our advice and recommendations.

RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

I would also recommend Alterna haircare, their products work so well!

RE: Shampoo/Conditioner Brand

Alterna Haircare Caviar Shampoo/Conditioner. The shampoo doesn’t have any parabens, sulfates (it says sulfactant but it’s entirely different from sulfate), and phtalates. Conditioner is free from silicone (it says silicon but it’s also not the same as silicone). It’s colored hair-friendly! A little conditioner gives you A LOT of moisture. Alterna also has a Repair shampoo/conditioner (light purple) but it is NOT COLOR-FRIENDLY!!! It fried the ends of my colored hair, but the natural hair roots are fine.
