Repairing Heat-Damaged Hair

I recently just purchased a couple Olaplex products (No. 3, 4 and 5) but am wondering if there is anything else anyone would recommend adding to my routine/journey in repairing my hair from split ends. I have naturally wavy, oily-prone hair so I don’t like to use anything heavy or that will make my hair look or feel greasy. Cutting out using a hair straightener is out of the question due to personal preference. I used to use a heat protection spray from the drugstore years ago and was considering trying Ouai or DryBar heat protection products. Any recs?

Try olaplex no. 6! It doubles as a heat protectant and frizz reducer. Loving it so far.

I have very dry, kinky, coarse hair. I find that steaming my hair, in addition to deep leave in conditioners and hot oil treatments with coconut oil works absolute wonders

I’d recommend The Kure from Amika - shampoo and conditioner, the mask is really amazing too but definitely thicker and intense.. more for like once a week. I use pre-shampoo scalp oil every time I wash to keep the oilies at bay. I don’t have the same hair as you, but it’s bleached and fine so it’s dry everywhere but my scalp so I get oily after 2 days. Dry shampoo is my best friend tho!!
