Purple or blue shampoo?

Okay so I’m getting my half of my hair beach white right so which shampoo should I use? I heard blue will work better for darker hair but I’m going to get it white. I’ve also heard that purple would be better for the color too. I don’t know what to choose.

Blue is your more of an orangy colored brass.  I used to have to use both blue and purple because my roots would turn very orange colored.  Now my hairdresser comes to my house and touches up my roots on a Wednesday and I got to the salon Friday for my highlights.  Problem solved, although I still keep purple shampoo in my routune

Blue cancels out “brass” so like... orange and purple cancels out gold! So it depends what you typically fade to and what tone you like!
