Products for Frizz

Iโ€™m looking for a really good anti frizz product. I have used the Sephora anti frizz hair mask before and while I did like it I want a product that comes with multiple uses and help get rid of frizz. Thank you for any suggestions

Re: Products for Frizz

@Krystal68163 Frizz season is definitely upon us!  I find that using a whole system works best for my hair.

Shampoo: Sulfate-free has been amazing for me.  I like Pureology Hydrate Shampoo; it's a big seller at Ulta.

Conditioner: Use a moisturizing one.  I like Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm which is also popular at Ulta.  Other good ones are DEVACURL - One Condition Original Daily Cream Conditioner

Phytojoba and Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioning Mask (I don't remember the whole name - it comes in a tub)

Styling products: I think silicone serums are excellent at preventing frizz.  I have been using Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum for years.  I also add in Phytodefrisant for some extra slip when blow drying.  It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product truly is a miracle, so I recommend adding that in as well.

Anti-frizz spray: LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Humidity Shield

does work.  It's not going to give you frizz-free hair, but it helps and I use it every morning.

Hair oils: My favorite way to use them is on dry hair after I'm doing flat ironing.  I really like one that has been discontinued, Matrix Oil Wonders.  However, there are many good ones out there.  I've heard great things about  Bumble and bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Frizz Reducing Hair Oil 3.4 oz/ 100 mL

and will be picking some up myself once there's a sale.  I also own Alterna Kendi Oil (both kinds), Josie Maran Argan Oil, and It's a Ten Miracle Oil with Kendi.  They are all good.  Remember that you can use oils as a treatment, in with your conditioner, or as a styling product, too.

Dry shampoo: I love it b/c it allows me to skip washes so I damage my hair less with water and styling.  My favorite is KLORANE - Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk - Loose Powder Formula

For staying frizz free, I also rec not using a towel on your hair -- but if you must then it should be microfiber.  I also won't leave the house without a hoodie on in the morning for work so that my hair doesn't get frizzy from the routine morning moisture.

Good luck!  ๐Ÿ™‚

@Krystal68163,

I also wanted to add that one of my favorites that I recommend for frizz is the Verb Ghost oil! I use it as a night treatment as well and I get compliments when I use it.

Hi @Krystal68163,

I really love the Ouai Rose Hair Oil. I've been using it for years. I use it on damp hair and it helps tame frizz on my wavy hair. It also has a lovely rose scent!

Re: Products for Frizz

Living Proof has an entire anti-frizz line.  I love their LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Shampoo and LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Conditioner.  They smell great and the lather is really rich.  I also use the LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream.
