Permed Hair Problems

Hello! I had my hair first permed back in November 2017 and then had it redone right at the first of April. Since these two experiences, my hair has become so dry, fluffy and frizzy. Products like the Shea Moisture curling smoothie or a good mousse will usually take care of this, but I'm tired of feeling like I can't leave the house with just my natural hair showing. Does anyone know any good (and cruelty free please!) moisturizing options that won't affect my curls but get rid of all the floof?

Re: Permed Hair Problems

Hey @Shaetasstic 😊

Perms can be super damaging for your Hair so it’s definitely a great idea to incorporate hydrating and bond building products into your routine. I recommend using Olaplex 1-3 times a week to help restore your hair from within (Olaplex does not test on animals). Since Olaplex repairs damage, but doesn’t hydrate, you’ll likely still want to use a leave in conditioner, like Verb leave in mist which is also cruelty free. Using this one helps to tame my frizz, makes my hair easier to manage, and feel

softer ☺️
