Olaplex no 3

Anyone know if olaplex 3 can be used over night?

As long as your hair is wet, the product is working, but it’s most effective within the first hour of applying. Sleeping in it isn’t recommended, as you may get it in your eye if you’re not tying your hair up. But since there aren’t silicones or proteins, there’s nothing that will damage your hair by having it in overnight. Be sure to sleep on a satin pillowcase to maintain moisture and smoothness (the hair is more fragile when wet) Enjoy your hair treatment!

Yes! I use it over night all the time, rinse it out in the morning and have incredibly healthy, shinny, silky smooth hair. I honest don’t know what I did without this product!

olaplex only works while its wet. if itvdries you xan pritz it with a water bottle to reactivate it, but once dry, it stops working. i sometimes french braid my hair with it in, because the inside of the braid stays wet.

Hi @fashunkilla,

It's recommend to use Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 for a minimum of 10 minutes or longer if desired. My friend dyed her hair blonde and she leaves the product in over night then rinses it off in the morning. I have a light blonde balayage and I have some areas in my hair where it's still really dark. I personally don't have much damaged hair, so I leave Olaplex in for 20-25 minutes. 🙂
