Microfiber Hair Drying Towels

I hate to blow dry my hair anytime, but often wash and treat my hair at night and cannot go to bed with wet hair. I use all great products, I use Surface hair products, which if you haven't ever used, you might look might look them up. They are clean products and have the greatest scents! I also use my Olaplex No. 3, and 6 religiously, I've sworn by it for years. However, my hair is thin, long and tends to be very dry, no matter how much I condition, my hair always drys frizzy. I have naturally wavy hair, but it always needs to put up whenever it's humid out. I've heard some good things about microfiber drying towels, but I would like know if anyone would recommend one? or, even any other products that might help me control the Frizz!??

Re: Microfiber Hair Drying Towels

@JkayS I have long coily hair. Most microfiber towels have too high a pile for my hair: they snag my coils, causing breakage. The only towel I have no problems with is Aquis Waffle Luxe Long Hair Towel White  . I have this towel in a few different colors. If you're in the US, sometimes you'll find Aquis towels at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I also have one of the non-waffle ones ( Aquis Lisse Luxe Long Hair Towel White/Off-white  ) and it works fine, but the waffle texture dries my hair faster. Though I should note I don't completely dry my hair with these towels: I get my hair just to the point of lightly damp and then let it air dry.

When traveling, I usually use a cotton-blend t-shirt as a hair towel. Works great, and I never have to worry about housekeeping accidentally collecting one of my Aquis towels with the hotel bath towels. (It's happened to me once.)

@WinglessOne I've never heard of this brand, but it looks so promising to me. I just looked up a video of it absorbing water faster and more evenly than cotton.

@Anonymous I've used and loved Aquis towels for years. I can scrunch my hair mostly dry with one of these towels without causing frizz or breakage. They're fantastic.

Aquis also makes hair turbans in both the flat and waffle textures, if you like to use turbans.

Hi @JkayS!

If you have long hair, I recommend getting a trim.  Getting a haircut every 3 months really helps keep your hair healthy and will grow faster.

I'm looking for microfiber hair towels as well!  Like you, I shower at night so I hate having to blow dry or wait for my hair to air dry.

I've heard great things about the DuraComfort Essentials AntiFrizz Microfiber Hair Towel and DevaCurl DevaTowel AntiFrizz Towel.

A product I swear by is IGK Crybaby Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum !  I have super damaged, frizzy hair that I can't brush or comb without hair breakage but OMG this product is so amazing!  It made my hair so soft and smooth!  It's a serum so it doesn't make your hair look greasy like oils do, and it's weightless.

thanks for your suggestions. I do have my hair trimmed (as it is fairly long,) every 6-7 weeks because that's when I go in to have my roots and highlights retouched. I will look into the products you recommended. thanks again 😊
