Itchy scalp

Hello i am on a well with a water softener system(salt based). I was my hair twice a week but my scalp is very itchy and dry( no flakes). My hair almost gets very oily after day 2. Can someone please point me in the right direction the itching is unbearable

@toollady Try a chelating treatment like Ion or Malibu. They sell the packets online and at Sallys. I have hard water and that really helped. I also installed a shower head filter, which made a big difference.
