How should I style wavy/curly thin hair?

I have very fine hair and it’s not naturally straight, wearing it down can be a struggle and wearing it up makes me look bald

Welcome to the club! I swear that having wavy/curly hair is like being a snowflake: everyone is different! There’s an entire forum (Naturally Curly) dedicated to us, and the amount of information out there can make your head spin. If you want to slightly bring out your wave, you could start with a spray formula. If you want to really encourage the texture, look for something “curl-defining” or “curl-enhancing.” Generally, fine hair will be weighed down by creams, puddings, etc. I recommend trying foams, mousses, or gels.

How you dry it is a matter of preference: some like to diffuse it starting when it’s wet, others prefer to air-dry. It might take some time to figure out which products and techniques work best for you, but don’t lose heart!

Have you ever tried diffusing it? It can help encourage your natural curl and make your hair appear fuller. Also, make sure the curl-control products you use don't weigh your hair down. I believe the Ouidad PlayCurl products are best for finer curls.
