Heat protector for straightening tool

I am looking for a heat protector that has pleasant scent before I straighten my hair. Any suggestions?

Re: Heat protector for straightening tool

I've been using Kenra Thermal Styling Spray 19 for a few years now and have had no issues with it. I have straight, fine, oily hair.

Re: Heat protector for straightening tool

I use Keratherapy Rapid Rescue, it smells very nice and seems to be protecting my hair, I don't use it too often yet, I only got it a few months ago and mostly air dry my hair in the summer, so it will be really tested over this winter. I work in a salon though, and a lot of the stylists use it and recommend it as well. https://keratherapy.com/products/styling-and-finishing/rapid-rescue/?sef_rewrite=1&sl=en

Re: Heat protector for straightening tool

Bumble and Bumble's "Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer" is amazing- my go-to heat protector for years. Smells amazing, makes hair soft & shiny, and does a great job at protection from heat styling tools!

I really like this one from Alterna: https://www.sephora.com/product/caviar-repair-multi-vitamin-heat-protection-spray-P396008?skuId=1674...

It smells great and works so well!

@Mcakes I a man looking for a new heat protectant and decided to make use of search bar before posting a new thread 😉 This Alterna spray you recommended sounds really good with a protection at 450 F . Pretty impressive. Do you supplement it with another product like a leave in conditioner or does it do the trick on its own.

Oh wow so the search bar does work huh @fatimamummy?!?!! 😉

I supplement with a leave in conditioner or serum daily regardless on if I use a heat tool or not. Otherwise my hair gets really dry! But as you know my hair goes past my tailbone so it's a lot of hair to keep up with lol.

@sukisoo I am in LOVE with Paul Mitchell Hot Off the Press.  It's an Allure award winner.  I can't recommend it highly enough!
