Heat or Heatless?

I have very thin and fine hair and every time i try to use a curling iron to curl my hair with hairspray and several different techniques, my hair always seems to fall out quite quickly. I turned to heatless and my hair has stayed the same with well cared for for about 3 days! I’ve used the bathrobe from ear to ear method. I am disappointed though the curling rod doesn’t work well, any suggestions to keep them staying?

Re: Heat or Heatless?

@beccacollins Hello! I have fine (curly) hair. I find using a heated wand right on my naturally dried hair works best. The more texture, the better in my experience. If I straighten my hair and then curl it, it does not hold as well. Maybe try a texturing spray and heat protector before styling with heat? I have a friend with fine hair that swears by the heatless curls. She applies it when her hair is damp.
