Hair care?

I have naturally wavy hair, but it gets frizzy often, so I'm forced to straighten it. I only straighten my hair once or twice a week, but my hair is extremely damaged and I have very bad split ends. Haircuts don't help. Any products that help keep my ends healthy and my hair from splitting?

Does it really work? I have smoker lines above my upper lip, old smoking days 25 yrs ago!!!
