Good Hair Products?

Hey! I'm looking for a shampoo and/or conditioner that hydrates my hair and helps with oiliness so I can get away with second day hair without it looking greasy. My hair is thick and straight/wavy and it does have some heat damage so if the product can help with that, that would be even better! My hair is brown and it isn't dyed so there's no need for the product to be color safe. Thank you!!

Re: Good Hair Products?

I found that I could go two days without shampooing when I use the Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Strengthening and Reparative Hair Shampoo 8.5 oz/ 250 mL amd Olaplex No. 5 Bond Maintenance Strengthening and Reparative Hair Conditioner 8.5 oz/ 250 mL @ssafiaa . they work really well for my hair! You don’t need too much product, either. A little goes a long way!

Re: Good Hair Products?

@ssafiaa  For shampoo have you tried any dry shampoos? I really like amika Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo  I use this for my second and third day. I also found the more I stopped washing everyday my oil balanced out better. I try and only wash my hair 2 days a week and I use to be an everyday hair washer. But the more I stopped the less oily my hair got. I really enjoy  Drybar On The Rocks Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo 8.5 oz/ 250 mL Drybar On The Rocks Lightweight Conditioner 8.5 oz/ 250 mL  it’s really helped get the extra buildup on my scalp and make my hair feel less weighed down. I have very thin hair so I have to be careful not to use heavy products!

Re: Good Hair Products?

@ather I did try using a dry shampoo, but I got annoyed because it kept leaving white marks on my hair. That being said I will try the Amika dry shampoo to help with the oiliness because of your recommendation. Thank so much!!

Re: Good Hair Products?

@ssafiaa  I usually don’t spray the top of my head I go under then massage it into my hair to work it to the top. I find it avoids the white spots. I believe there are also dry shampoos with colour added so it doesn’t leave that white cast!

Moroccanoil Mini Dry Shampoo Dark Tones 1.7 oz/ 65 mL ive never tried it but it may help you use it easier!!
