i thought i had dandruff but it turned out i just had a dry scalp, i got the ordinary hair oil and it’s a game changer

Buy a scalp massager and go crazy before you get your hair wet and then try a good clarifying shampoo to remove the excess flakes of skin, etc.  rinse well and repeat.  then do treatment shampoo, and lightly condition if needed.  the goal is to clear the dandruff as much as possible, and then treat it.  Do not leave hair and scalp wet.  You have to thoroughly dry and brush to avoid getting patches of yeast with the dandruff.  Exfoliate the scalp as you would your patchy areas of built up dried skin.  It doesn't matter what products you use if you don't help by removing the buildup first. @abcx  Have you tried mixing 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water and using it as a hair and scalp rinse after shampooing?  It’s anti bacterial and anti fungal and helps balance the ph of your scalp:)

Thanks for your suggestion. I never tried this. I just have tried head & should, The body shop ginger shampoo,Xpel anti dandruff shampoo these things.
