Color retention for red

Hello beauties. I just got my hair cut and colored, and I became a redhead. My hairdresser informed me that red is the hardest color to retain, even though she used a permanent hair color. Sure enough, after just a couple of washings, the red tint seems to have almost disappeared, and I am left as a dark brunette. Can any of you recommend some hair care products that are great for color retention? Also, do you know of any products that can add color back into the hair? Appreciate any tips. 😘

I've had my hair red before and I know exactly what you mean:( Make sure that you are using a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and this will help preserve your color. Also, try not to wash your hair everyday as this will help too!

I recommend using a leave in gloss that will temporarily deposit a bit of color back into your hair and using it 1-2x a week.
